About the Role
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Dermatology to join a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. This unique role focuses on providing specialized dermatologic care to residents in nursing home settings. You will address skin conditions commonly seen in the elderly and chronically ill population, ranging from pressure injuries and infections to skin cancers.
In this position, you will serve as a vital link between the nursing home residents, their families, and the broader medical team. Your day will involve conducting comprehensive skin examinations, performing minor procedures such as biopsies and cryotherapy, and developing individualized treatment plans. Beyond clinical duties, you will play an educational role, training nursing home staff on pressure injury prevention and infection control while empowering residents and families with knowledge about skin health.
