This position is based at the Moody Outpatient Center and serves as the primary leader for daily unit management. The role exists to ensure high-quality patient care and optimal outcomes through the effective supervision of staff, strategic planning, and the oversight of budget, quality, and facility operations. As a clinical resource, you will coordinate patient services and act as a patient advocate, bridging the gap between clinical needs and administrative goals.
Your day involves managing unit activities to promote integrated care, collaborating with physicians, social work, and other departments to address patient care issues and arrange discharge support. You will serve as a role model and educational resource for staff, evaluating competencies, directing meetings, and providing counseling to ensure clinical activities align with Parkland's mission. A significant portion of your time is dedicated to performance improvement, analyzing work processes to enhance productivity, and managing facility resources to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
