HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is a national learning health system transforming care delivery and advancing clinical outcomes. We are committed to empowering nursing teams in a collaborative effort to give people a healthier tomorrow. Our facility is recognized for stroke response times nearly half of the national average, cutting-edge SPOT Technology that detects sepsis earlier than the human eye, and an Enhanced Surgical Recovery program that reduces opioid prescriptions and post-surgical readmissions.
HCA Healthcare has been recognized as one of the World's Most Ethical Companies® by the Ethisphere Institute more than ten times. In recent years, we spent an estimated $3.7 billion on charitable care, uninsured discounts, and other uncompensated expenses. As Dr. Thomas Frist, Sr., our Co-Founder, stated: "The great hospitals will always put the patient and the patient's family first, and the really great institutions will provide care with warmth, compassion, and dignity for the individual."

This role promotes professional competency for nursing, inter-professional, and non-licensed clinical staff at the assigned facility. In this position, you will design and identify educational activities to address practice gaps for licensed and non-licensed healthcare personnel. You will utilize a novice-to-expert continuum to develop staff, identifying opportunities for skill enhancement and mastery. Your work will integrate Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) to continuously improve patient care settings, conducting and facilitating research and quality improvement initiatives.
