About the Role
This position provides direct clinical patient care, serving as a vital link in delivering high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing services. On a per-shift and unit level, the role assumes full responsibility for assessing patient needs, planning care, and implementing clinical interventions. Beyond individual patient management, the role includes supervising staff to whom care is delegated and supporting the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in maintaining clinical competency and effective resource management.
The nurse coordinates care using a multi-disciplinary approach, developing and modifying plans of care for newly admitted patients as their conditions evolve. This involves performing specialty-specific procedures, delivering nursing interventions consistent with medical plans, and ensuring all patient-related information is documented accurately and completely in assigned records.
