Manchester Memorial Hospital, a vital part of the Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN), is dedicated to serving our community with compassionate care. Our Healthcare & Medical Services team operates within a supportive, community-oriented environment where every member plays a crucial role in driving meaningful impact on patient health outcomes. We foster a culture of professional growth, ensuring our staff has the resources and encouragement needed to thrive while delivering exceptional service.
As a Nurse Assistant, you will be the backbone of our patient care experience, providing direct, hands-on support under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. This role exists to ensure patients receive not only clinical attention but also the dignity, comfort, and emotional support they deserve during their hospital stay. You will be the eyes and ears of the nursing team, monitoring patient status, assisting with daily living activities, and maintaining a safe, hygienic environment. From the moment a patient arrives for admission to their discharge, you will be integral to their journey, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to promote positive outcomes.
ECHN offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of our neighbors. We value the human connection in healthcare, providing a workplace where your contributions are recognized and your professional development is prioritized. Whether you are a seasoned professional or just starting your journey, our supportive culture ensures you have the mentorship and opportunities to grow your career while making a lasting impact on patient health.
