This onsite position is located at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO, within the Radiology Nuc Med department. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform imaging and therapy procedures in accordance with the organization's scope of practice, policies, values, and mission. You will work in a fast-paced environment requiring critical thinking and decisive judgment, often with minimal supervision.
Your day will involve reviewing patient history and physician orders, scheduling exams, and educating patients to ensure their understanding and cooperation. You will be responsible for the safe ordering, preparation, administration, storage, and disposal of radiopharmaceuticals while continuously monitoring patient conditions. Additionally, you will select appropriate imaging parameters, perform quality control procedures, troubleshoot equipment, and analyze scan results to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
