About the Role
Quad Chalfont is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to provide electrical support for all equipment and facilities. This role is designed for a professional with well-rounded industrial electrical skills and knowledge of the setup and repair of a broad range of production equipment, including AC/DC drives, PLCs, and relay logic. The position requires the ability to perform troubleshooting skills at the board level, ranging from relay logic to microprocessor-based controls. Success in this role involves demonstrating skills in all phases of job responsibility while actively participating in safety programs and maintaining a work-safe environment.
Work Environment
This position operates on a 12-hour night shift schedule (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.), working 3 to 4 days a week. The schedule includes Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and rotating Saturdays, as well as holidays. The role requires strict adherence to Quad Graphics safety procedures, including daily housekeeping, immediate spill cleanup, and the proper use of safety gear such as hearing protection, safety shoes, and electrical covers.
