As a Deployment Readiness Engineer based in Dallas, TX, you will serve as a regional technical field lead, coordinating efforts between Engineering Services and field installation teams to ensure the successful implementation of Air/Ground radio systems. Your work involves providing local operational knowledge to optimize site visit planning and improve geographic deployment efficiency.
You will be hands-on, involved in hardware and software deployment, field testing, and operational readiness to ensure systems are properly installed, configured, and functioning prior to operational turnover. The role requires supporting field operations in remote or rugged environments, often necessitating extensive travel to deployment locations. You will document installation activities and technical findings through detailed reports, communicating effectively with internal engineering teams, field technicians, and program stakeholders to ensure deployment readiness and issue resolution.
