Meta's Infrastructure family builds, operates, leases, and retrofits data centers in service to the Meta family of apps. Our Data Center Design, Engineering, & Construction (DEC) Operations team, alongside Delivery Construction Management, oversees the construction execution for our global data center fleet. This includes new builds (greenfield), live environment retrofits, leased facilities, and onsite fiber installations from trunk to top of rack, continuing through to the handover of data halls for provisioning. These data centers serve as the foundation for our innovative services and rapidly scaling infrastructure, connecting the world to the information stored on Meta's server banks.
The Connectivity Integration Lead (CIL) serves as the DEC Connectivity subject matter expert (SME) supporting multiple data centers across the programmatic portfolio. Reporting to the Connectivity Integration Manager, this role ensures standardized builds, identifies and mitigates risks, captures lessons learned, and provides training and onboarding to internal and external resources. As a mentor, the CIL provides expertise in DEC telecommunications design, standards, products, quality, operations, tooling, and vendor management to the field.
You will support 6-8 sites or regions, requiring travel up to 50% of the time to ensure effective support and collaboration. A consistent focus on meeting milestones, managing risks, and delivering projects on schedule is essential, prioritizing team health, project success, financial stewardship, and effective collaboration with cross-functional partners within our matrixed organization.
Candidates for this role will undergo a structured interview process designed to assess technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and cultural fit. The process typically includes an initial screening, followed by technical deep-dives into connectivity integration and data center infrastructure, and concludes with team fit interviews. Finalists will be evaluated on their ability to drive strategic initiatives across a global portfolio and their experience in mentoring teams.
