Meta's Infrastructure family builds, operates, leases, and retrofits data centers that serve the Meta family of apps. The Data Center Design, Engineering, & Construction (DEC) Operations team, which includes Delivery Construction Management, oversees the execution of our global data center fleet. This encompasses new greenfield builds, live environment retrofits, leased facilities, and onsite fiber installations from trunk to top-of-rack. These data centers form the foundation for Meta's innovative services and rapidly scaling infrastructure, connecting the world to the information stored on Meta's server banks.
The Connectivity Integration Lead (CIL) serves as the DEC Connectivity subject matter expert, supporting a programmatic portfolio of sites. Reporting to the Connectivity Integration Manager, this role ensures standardized builds, identifies and mitigates risks, captures lessons learned, and provides training to internal and external resources. As a mentor, the CIL offers expertise in telecommunications design, standards, products, quality, operations, tooling, and vendor management to the field.
You will support 6-8 sites or regions, requiring travel up to 50% of the time to ensure effective collaboration across the portfolio. The role demands a consistent focus on meeting milestones, managing risks, and delivering projects on schedule, while prioritizing team health, financial stewardship, and effective collaboration within our matrixed organization.
Candidates will be evaluated on their ability to drive strategic initiatives across a global portfolio and their experience in training and mentoring others. The process involves assessing technical expertise in structured cabling and hyperscale data center environments, as well as the ability to navigate complex cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
