As a professional nurse here, you will interact with nearly every healthcare specialty, caring for patients ranging from those with minor illnesses to life-threatening diseases or injuries. You will perform direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, while monitoring and coordinating care with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort.
Our Emergency Trauma Center is a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke center, recognized for outstanding trauma services in both Missouri and Arkansas. We are the area's only Regional Burn Center, serving multistate areas including Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. The facility features 70 exam and treatment areas, including 6 designated trauma suites, 11 beds dedicated to the Pediatric Emergency Department with specialty-trained physicians, and specialty Behavioral Health resources. We also house a SANE Program and maintain positive, cohesive relationships with Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians.
