We are seeking New Grad RN Residents to join our team in a structured residency program designed to bridge the gap between student and professional nurse. This role offers a unique opportunity to transition into practice with dedicated preceptors, classroom learning, and simulation training.
In this position, you will provide hands-on, patient-centered care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Your day-to-day involves assessing patients, administering medications, documenting in the EHR, and responding promptly to changes in patient conditions. You will participate in clinical rotations through key hospital specialty units, engaging in competency assessments and residency classes to foster your clinical development.
Candidates must successfully complete an accredited nursing program and hold an active RN license in Virginia or be eligible for multistate compact eligibility. The selection process includes a background check and health/immunization clearance per hospital policy. Successful candidates will be required to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within the defined period after hire, depending on the assigned unit.
