About the Role
Located at the Methodist Physicians Clinic - Westroads Office Park III in Omaha, NE, this position is dedicated to coordinating clinical research studies of investigational medications. You will be the backbone of the study lifecycle, managing everything from regulatory compliance and study start-up to the implementation, follow-up, and closeout of research.
In this role, you will ensure proper billing services and evaluate follow-up care for all research subjects. You will also conduct registry studies for data collection and observation, both short and long term. A key part of your day involves interrogating and analyzing implantable cardiac devices, such as pacemakers and defibrillators, performing diagnostic tests, and making appropriate device programming changes. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and sponsors to ensure participant safety, accurate data reporting, and adherence to strict regulatory guidelines.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleInterrogate and analyze implantable cardiac devices to perform diagnostic tests and program changes
- check_circleCollaborate with physicians to coordinate patient care plans and ensure continuity of follow-up care
- check_circleManage trial master files and ensure proper regulatory document requirements are met for site trials
- check_circleManage investigational product storage, dispensing, reconciliation, and emergency code maintenance
- check_circleCoordinate study monitoring visits including site initiation, interim reviews, and close-out activities
- check_circleCoordinate clinical research studies including regulatory compliance, study start-up, implementation, and closeout
- check_circleConduct informed consent procedures and verify participant eligibility against protocol criteria
- check_circleCollect, record, and report accurate data while resolving CRF queries from study monitors
Requirements
- verifiedAssociates degree in healthcare discipline or relevant field required
- verifiedBachelor's degree preferred
- verifiedMinimum 1 year of experience with clinical trials and/or regulatory experience required
- verifiedCertified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) required within 3 years of employment
- verifiedInternational Air Transport Association (IATA) Dangerous Goods Regulation (DGR) training required within 30 days of hire
- verifiedCollaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) program certification required within 30 days of hire
- verifiedCurrent American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred at time of hire, required within 3 months of hire
- verifiedKnowledge of research study design for clinical trials, Phase I – IV
- verifiedKnowledge of medical terminology, cardiac anatomy, physiology, and conduction system
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
