Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct nursing care to ED patients under established protocols
- check_circlePerform triage, ongoing assessment, and continuous monitoring of patient status
- check_circleAdminister medications, treatments, and interventions safely and accurately
- check_circleCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- check_circleEducate patients and families on treatments, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
- check_circleMaintain accurate, timely electronic documentation of all assessments and interventions
- check_circleRespond to emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions
- check_circleParticipate in new grad residency, ongoing training, and skills development
Requirements
- verifiedActive RN license in state of practice
- verifiedAssociate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN/BSN)
- verifiedBLS (Basic Life Support) required
- verifiedACLS preferred or obtained within hire timeline
- verifiedPALS or TNCC preferred for ED
- verifiedNew graduate nurse residency participation
