We are currently seeking a Field Engineer I to join our growing Transportation Construction Engineering team in Madison, WI.
This position focuses on the construction engineering and inspection of large highway and bridge projects in the Madison area and throughout southwest Wisconsin. You will collaborate with the Transportation Construction Services team and project stakeholders to perform inspection, documentation, and materials verification.
Your primary responsibility is to monitor construction work performed by contractors to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, contract provisions, and state and local regulations, ultimately protecting the client's interests. You will assist in the compliance and modification of design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans. This role offers a chance to work on challenging, high-profile transportation infrastructure projects in Wisconsin and the Upper Midwest.
