Owen Electric Company is a leading provider of electrical services, dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence. Our mission centers on protecting our workforce, our clients, and the communities we serve through rigorous adherence to safety protocols and continuous improvement in our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs.
The Electrical Safety Manager serves as the cornerstone of our electrical safety strategy, bridging the gap between regulatory compliance and practical field application. This role exists to proactively identify and mitigate electrical hazards, ensuring that every project from high-voltage installations to routine maintenance is executed with zero incidents.

You will lead safety training initiatives, from new hire orientations to advanced technical workshops for qualified electrical workers, fostering a culture where safety is a shared value rather than just a requirement.
As a key liaison, you will collaborate with project teams, site supervisors, and management to integrate safety into the planning phase of major electrical projects. You will be expected to interpret complex standards including OSHA, NEC (NFPA 70), NFPA 70E, and EM-385, translating them into actionable guidelines that exceed minimum regulatory requirements. This role demands a balance of technical precision and strong interpersonal skills, as you will influence and motivate team members to adopt safe work practices across diverse job sites.
Candidates selected for an interview will undergo a comprehensive evaluation process designed to assess both technical expertise and cultural fit. The process typically includes:
