CHI Health Clinic and Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, NE, are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) General Neurosurgeon with a Spine Focus to join our progressive and rapidly expanding Neuroscience Institute. This strategic initiative includes the development of a neurosurgery residency program in the coming years, offering a unique opportunity to help shape the future of the division.
The Neuroscience Institute integrates leading medical experts in neurology, neuroradiology, neuro-critical care, radiation oncology, and neurosurgery to offer highly advanced care for patients with complex neurological disorders. Our facility is a Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Certified Center with a biplane suite and an ACS Level I Trauma Center, featuring a dedicated neurosurgery operating room block equipped with modern technology including Kinevo microscopes with fluorescence, Stealth navigation, and O-Arm.
This position is ideal for an academically driven neurosurgeon interested in a teaching environment. We welcome both experienced Board Certified neurosurgeons and new board-eligible graduates looking to grow the Neurosurgery Division. The role is particularly well-suited for dual-trained vascular/endovascular neurosurgeons interested in maintaining a practice in general neurosurgery within a Level I Trauma Center setting.\n Primary practice location is at the Creighton University Medical Center Bergan Mercy. You will benefit from an academic affiliation with Creighton University School of Medicine, allowing you to practice in both clinical and academic settings. The team includes collegial partners and Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support for both inpatient and outpatient settings, utilizing Epic for electronic medical records.
