As a Neuroscience Account Manager for the Baltimore territory, you will lead the promotion of our psychiatry portfolio to psychiatrists and institutional accounts, including community mental health centers and hospitals. You will execute sales and marketing strategies using comprehensive clinical knowledge to drive sales performance. This role is designed for a results-driven professional who is adept at navigating the toughest commercialization challenges in today's rapidly changing environment.
Your day-to-day involves creating opportunities through digital tools and data-based insights, developing strategic tactics, and allocating resources to enhance sales execution. You will deliver clear and compelling messages to customers, probe needs to handle objections, and close calls with commitments to action that drive behavioral changes. Building and maintaining productive internal and external relationships is central to your success, as is staying informed on reimbursement dynamics to effectively address payer access issues.
The primary territory is Baltimore, MD, with boundaries including Silver Spring, Reisterstown, Glen Burnie, and Rockville. We consider candidates who live within 40 miles of these territory boundaries and have access to a major airport. This role requires a valid driver's license and involves travel up to 30%–40% domestically to regularly meet with your customer base, internal personnel, and to attend 4–8 internal or external conferences and meetings across the United States.

Prior experience promoting and detailing products specific to CNS/neuroscience including depression, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Documented successful sales performance. Ownership and accountability for the development and execution of fully integrated account plans. Strong analytical background, and experience using sales data reporting tools to identify trends. Experience in calling on customers at a variety of call points, including offices, community mental health centers and hospitals. Sales experience with buy & bill/injectable products. Experience in product launches. Previous experience working with alliance partners (i.e., co-promotions). Strong leadership through participation in committees, job rotations, panels and related activities.
