About the Role
This contingent Neurology Physician position offers a unique opportunity to provide expert medical opinions without the traditional responsibilities of patient treatment or diagnosis. Providers are supplied with accepted diagnoses for claims and perform general examinations to assess the current level of disability. The role focuses on reviewing medical records when relevant, examining patients, notating findings, and delivering a professional conclusion.
Providers do not dictate or derive medical history from the patient; instead, patients complete intake forms with staff assistance. Exams typically last 10-15 minutes. This role covers both Liability and no-fault claims, with compensation structured per exam and per deposition.
Schedule & Compensation
The schedule is highly flexible, requiring a commitment of just two 8-hour shifts per month (16 hours of patient contact). Providers have full control over their patient volume, which directly influences their earnings. On average, providers earn between $4,000 and $8,000 per day, totaling $8,000 to $16,000 per month for the required 16 hours of work.
