Network Security L3

About the Role

As a Network Security L3, you will serve as a critical technical leader within our Dallas-based team, managing day-to-day operations for complex customer environments. This role is designed to bridge the gap between deep technical execution and strategic service improvement. You will be responsible for driving end-to-end resolution of critical outages and L3 support scenarios, ensuring high availability and security posture across our clients' networks.

The position focuses on a hybrid architecture, primarily managing two distinct technology stacks: Checkpoint firewalls integrated with Zscaler (ZIA & ZPA) and Aruba ClearPass, or Checkpoint paired with Zscaler and Cloudflare WAF. You will not only troubleshoot complex authentication failures, latency issues, and connectivity flows but also lead the charge in identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing automation to enhance service delivery.

Beyond individual contribution, this role includes a leadership component where you will manage and mentor a team of network security engineers and analysts. You are expected to foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation in service standards, conducting internal training to close skill gaps, and motivating the team toward technical certifications. Your work will directly influence customer satisfaction by maintaining low escalation rates and delivering high-quality, compliant service reports to senior management.
