The Network Security Engineer will work within the Network Security Implementation and Sustainment (NSIS) Services section to provide engineering expertise in analyzing complex systems, architecture, network design, and technical hardware issues. This role is critical for ensuring that designs meet applicable governmental security specifications and for supporting the development of system security documentation.

The role involves a mix of on-site and remote work, with up to 10% travel required within the Continental US and Outside Continental US (OCONUS) for hardware deployments and site surveys.
Candidates must meet the DoD approved 8570 Baseline Certification for IAT Level II and possess specific vendor certifications or be willing to obtain them prior to starting. The position requires a Top Secret/Secret clearance with a Polygraph. The application process involves reviewing qualifications against these strict security and certification requirements.

Bachelor's degree in communications engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.

Education: Bachelor's degree in related field required, but 5 years experience can substitute.
