As an NCT - Medical Assistant at CareNow, you will play a vital role in our patient care team. You will take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections. A key part of your day involves performing all x-ray and imaging services according to provider orders and updating patient charts accordingly. You will also collect patient history, document EHR information appropriately, and apply splints, dressings, and bandages as needed.
Beyond clinical duties, you will assist with check-in and check-out processes, audit charts, and maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work and drug screens. You will keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience. This position is incentive eligible, and new hires may receive up to $1,000 as a sign-on bonus.

1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting. Experience using an EHR system. Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
Skills: X-Ray, Imaging, Ehr, Ekg, Im Injections, Splints, Dressings, Bandages, Drug Screens, General Medical Radiology Technician.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is required.
