About the Role
As an NCT - Medical Assistant at CareNow, you will join a physician-driven team dedicated to providing extensive resources and support to our clinical colleagues. This role exists to ensure our clinics operate smoothly while delivering compassionate, high-quality care to the entire family. You will be the face of our clinic, assisting with patient intake, collecting vital signs, and performing imaging services according to provider orders. Your day will involve a blend of clinical tasks—such as administering injections, performing EKGs, and documenting patient history in our EHR system—and operational support, including auditing charts and keeping patients informed of their progress. To qualify for the NCT - Medical Assistant at CareNow position, applicants should have: High School Diploma or equivalent; Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant school or approved program (BOTP); General Medical Radiology Technician (GMRT), Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT), or Non-Registered Technician (NCT) license in state of residency; Current BLS Certification within 30 days of start; Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months; and 1+ year of clinical experience in patient care setting (helpful).
