The Mortgage Loan Closing Manager serves as a strategic leader for the Bank's residential mortgage operations, overseeing the critical journey from clear to close through final loan certification. This position is designed to ensure timely, compliant, and accurate loan settlement while acting as a vital operational partner to origination, secondary marketing, compliance, legal, and servicing teams.
In this role, you will drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, balancing the Bank's growth objectives with rigorous risk management. You will provide the strategic direction necessary to optimize staffing models, workflow efficiency, and technology enhancements, ensuring the closing and post-closing functions remain robust in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Your leadership will span the entire loan lifecycle, managing end-to-end processes for conventional, jumbo, and portfolio loans. You will ensure the accurate preparation and execution of closing documents in strict adherence to federal, state, and investor requirements, while maintaining strong relationships with settlement agents, attorneys, title companies, and notaries.
Beyond the closing table, you will oversee post-closing review, trailing document clearance, and investor delivery. This involves managing collateral custody, resolving deficiencies, and ensuring timely loan purchases by private investors. You will also partner with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to navigate audits and implement internal controls that minimize operational and reputational risk.
We are committed to regulatory excellence and operational integrity. As a leader in this space, you will play a key role in maintaining the Bank's reputation by ensuring full compliance with regulations such as TRID, RESPA, TILA, HMDA, and ECOA. We value collaborative, partnership-oriented leadership and seek individuals who can effectively manage change and drive quality control initiatives.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
