About the Role
Lap of Love seeks a compassionate Mobile Veterinarian to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services for dogs and cats. This unique role combines strong clinical skills with exceptional communication and emotional support for families during their most difficult moments. You will conduct quality-of-life assessments, develop comfort-focused care plans, and perform peaceful, dignified euthanasias directly in a home environment.
As a Mobile Veterinarian, you will manage a dynamic schedule of daily visits, ensuring high standards of care while navigating the logistics of a house-call practice. Your work extends beyond clinical procedures; you will educate and support families through end-of-life decisions, offering grief support and maintaining detailed medical records.
