Lap of Love is a mission-driven, family-centered organization dedicated to providing compassionate in-home hospice, palliative care, and euthanasia services for companion animals. We exist to support families during their most difficult moments, ensuring that every pet receives a peaceful, dignified end-of-life experience in the comfort of their own home.
As a Mobile Veterinarian, you will serve as the primary caregiver for animals in their final chapters. This field-based role requires you to travel to families' homes to perform quality-of-life assessments, create comfort-focused care plans, and deliver humane euthanasia following strict medical and safety protocols. Beyond clinical duties, you will act as a counselor, guiding pet parents through end-of-life decisions with empathy, clear communication, and grief support.
You will collaborate with a supportive remote team and enjoy flexible scheduling backed by strong administrative support. The position offers opportunities for ongoing learning and professional development, allowing you to focus on high-quality, family-centered care while managing your daily schedule, routing, and inventory efficiently.
