About the Role
Lap of Love seeks a compassionate Mobile Veterinarian to provide in-home hospice, palliative care, and euthanasia services for dogs and cats. This role is dedicated to guiding families through difficult decisions with empathy and clarity, ensuring that every pet receives the highest standards of dignity and medical care at the end of life.
As a fully mobile practitioner, you will travel to clients' homes within a designated service area to perform quality-of-life assessments and develop comfort-focused treatment plans. Your day will involve performing thorough physical exams, administering medications and sedatives, and providing essential counseling to pet owners. You will collaborate closely with a supportive veterinary and client care team to coordinate care, manage scheduling, and maintain detailed medical records while upholding the organization's mission of compassionate end-of-life support.
