Lap of Love is dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care for companion animals in the comfort of their own homes. Our mission is to support families through the most difficult moments of their pets' lives by offering gentle hospice, palliative care, and peaceful euthanasia services. We believe that every animal deserves dignity and that every family deserves clarity and emotional support during their journey.
As a Mobile Veterinarian, you will be the heart of our care team, traveling to clients' homes to deliver high-quality veterinary services. This role exists to bridge the gap between clinical excellence and deep emotional connection, ensuring that pets receive personalized comfort care and that families are guided through end-of-life decisions with empathy and understanding.
In this position, you will perform gentle physical exams, develop individualized comfort-care plans, and administer pain management and sedation. Your day will involve driving safely to various locations, managing mobile medical supplies, and collaborating closely with our care coordination team to ensure seamless scheduling and follow-ups. Beyond clinical duties, you will serve as a counselor and educator, helping families navigate disease progression and quality-of-life considerations with compassion.
We value integrity and compassion in our team members. The interview process typically includes a review of your clinical experience and a discussion about your approach to end-of-life care. Selected candidates will undergo a background check and verification of all required licenses and certifications before joining our network.
Lap of Love is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and clients. We consider qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.
