About the Role
As a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic at our Smithfield, KY branch, you will join a team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency. This position is responsible for the routine maintenance, inspections, and repair of the entire company fleet across branch locations in the area. You will ensure that all equipment deficiencies are corrected and perform preventative maintenance on company-owned assets as directed by management.
In this role, you will travel to various locations to perform repairs and maintenance as required. Your day-to-day involves conducting thorough inspections to identify unsatisfactory conditions, performing diagnostic tests, and determining vehicle conditions by identifying worn or damaged parts. You will also be responsible for completing and submitting all associated paperwork to track preventative maintenance schedules. Success in this role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime, and a commitment to full compliance with mandatory PPE requirements.
