About the Role
Join our safety-conscious team in Smithfield, KY, as a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic. This position is vital to keeping our operations running smoothly, responsible for the routine maintenance, inspections, and repair of the entire company fleet across branch locations in the area. You will be the first line of defense in ensuring equipment reliability, performing thorough inspections to identify deficiencies, and executing preventative maintenance as directed by management.
Day-to-day, you will travel to various locations within your assigned territory to perform repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and equipment. Success in this role requires a strong commitment to safety, ensuring that Health and Safety remains the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes. You will work in state-of-the-art facilities equipped with advanced technology and tooling, utilizing your expertise to maintain active light duty or DQ driver status as required by the mobile vehicle type.
