About the Role
The Senior Fleet Technician serves as a critical pillar in maintaining the operational integrity of our fleet vehicles and equipment. This role goes beyond standard maintenance; it requires a proactive approach to ensuring that gas and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, air brakes, forklifts, tankers, and trailers are always ready for the road. You will be responsible for performing both preventative and corrective maintenance, ensuring that our logistics network remains efficient and safe.
In this position, you will not only troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical issues but also oversee other Fleet Technicians, providing direction and support to keep the shop running smoothly. A key part of your day involves educating Route Sales Representatives on pre and post-trip inspections, ensuring that safety and compliance standards are met from the driver's seat to the shop floor. You will manage the entire repair lifecycle, from recording work in the Trimble TMT electronic maintenance system to billing parts and ensuring all DOT and Safety, Health, and Environmental compliance standards are strictly followed.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleTroubleshoot and repair fleet vehicles and equipment including gas and diesel engines

- check_circleElectronically bill out parts using Trimble TMT Fleet software or proprietary systems

Requirements
- verifiedMinimum five years hands-on experience in commercial fleet repair
- verifiedHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- verifiedAccredited vocational / trade school certification preferred
- verifiedValid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- verifiedAbility to secure and maintain a CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement
- verifiedAbility to secure and maintain T4 (airbrake) certification
- verifiedProficient with Microsoft Office programs, Electronic Diagnostic Tools, and Electronic Maintenance Database applications
