ActioNet is seeking a Mobile Broadband Engineer to join our team across multiple CONUS sites, including locations in Maine, Michigan, Tennessee, New Hampshire, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Ohio. In this role, you will assist in the design of mobile broadband and cellular-related services across the BAN (Broadband Access Network). You will be responsible for understanding requirements and adhering to standards for spectrum use, antenna placement, power requirements, and back-haul connectivity.
Your day-to-day will involve ensuring the integrity and smooth operation of both legacy and modernized communications networks. You will troubleshoot network problems, optimize capacity, and install and configure broadband systems. This position requires diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to broadband systems, monitoring and analyzing system performance, and performing regular maintenance to ensure longevity and optimal working conditions. You will coordinate with Network Engineers to optimize network capacity and performance, test new broadband technologies before rollout, and document all installation, maintenance, and repair activities for future reference. Throughout your work, you will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety procedures.
