About the Role
This position serves as a vital component of Falmouth Hospital's clinical laboratory, dedicated to delivering accurate diagnostic testing that directly impacts patient care. The role exists to ensure the integrity of laboratory results through rigorous adherence to established procedures, quality control standards, and safety protocols.
As a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide array of diagnostic tests across multiple disciplines, including Blood Bank, Serology, Coagulation, Hematology, Chemistry, Clinical Microscopy, and Microbiology. Your day-to-day involves operating and maintaining complex laboratory equipment, collecting and processing patient specimens, and analyzing results with precision. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely communication of critical findings.

Requirements
