About the Role
Our client, a full-service architectural millwork shop, is seeking an experienced Millwork/Casework Estimator to join their team. This role is critical for managing the bid process, ensuring that cost estimates for casework, millwork, and finish carpentry are both timely and accurate. The ideal candidate will bring a thorough understanding of millwork materials, construction methods, and industry standards to the table.
In this position, you will serve as the bridge between design and production. You will review architectural, engineering, and interior design drawings to analyze project requirements and scope of work. Your expertise will be essential in identifying cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options while collaborating with vendors to secure the best pricing for materials. Additionally, you will work closely with the production team to ensure a smooth transition from the estimating phase to project execution, maintaining clear communication with clients, architects, and contractors throughout the lifecycle of the project.
