This role is part of the Guardian Support Management Office (GSMO) — Pay, Orders, & Travel Cell, supporting the U.S. Space Force (USSF). The team serves as the subject matter expert for military pay, ensuring the financial integrity of part-time participants in Annual Tour, Inactive Duty Training, and Active Duty for Operational Support statuses.
About the Role
As a Military Pay Analyst, you will act as the primary subject matter expert for military pay within the GSMO. Your mission is to ensure the timely and accurate processing of pay actions for U.S. Space Force personnel. You will interpret and apply complex DoD, DFAS, and Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) to resolve pay entitlements and system discrepancies. This role requires close coordination with the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) and the Enterprise Travel Management Office (ETMO) to maintain compliance and support readiness requirements.
