KIPP Academy Lynn Charter School is dedicated to creating a professional and authentic environment defined by joy, excellence, care, and community. Our mission is to amplify the potential of every child by crafting a school experience that affirms, values, and challenges students daily. We seek educators who are committed to making long-term, transformative outcomes for the students they serve.
Our leadership team consists of experienced and dedicated staff who have proven success in the teaching role. They maintain consistent school-wide systems and procedures—spanning academic, behavioral, cultural, and logistical domains—designed to empower teachers to do their best work. Teachers are supported by a culture of accountability, change, and improvement, where constructive feedback is welcomed to foster professional growth.
As a Lead Teacher, you will serve as a lead or co-lead in a classroom, adapting to the school's needs through independent instruction, co-teaching, or coverage roles. This position is designed for those who can create a positive and safe learning environment where rigorous, engaging lessons are the norm.
Your day will involve leveraging provided curricula and intellectual preparation tools to internalize unit and daily lessons. You will set ambitious growth goals for all students, analyzing academic data to refine instruction and ensure every child is challenged appropriately. Beyond the classroom, you will be an active participant in the school community, collaborating with grade-level teams to implement systems, attending professional development sessions, and engaging with families through consistent communication and school events.
This role requires embodying KIPP MA's Code of Conduct by leading with humanity, centering self-awareness, and taking personal responsibility. You will navigate a dynamic setting with diverse student needs, utilizing emotional intelligence to support behavioral and emotional well-being while maintaining a safe and inclusive atmosphere.
Candidates selected for this role will be required to obtain MTEL and SEI endorsements within their first year of employment. KIPP MA provides financial support and free study resources to assist in this process. New hires will also participate in pre-service training over the summer, followed by weekly professional development throughout the academic year.
KIPP Academy Lynn Charter School is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive community. We value the unique perspectives and experiences that all individuals bring to our school and are dedicated to providing equal opportunity to all applicants regardless of background.
