About the Role
Amentum is seeking a Mid Targeting Analyst to support the USSPACECOM program in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will provide critical recommendations for target prioritization to achieve commander objectives for plans and operations. You will be responsible for developing daily target nomination packets, creating database records, and producing all-source analytic damage estimates and battle damage assessments.
Your work will directly support deliberate and dynamic target engagements by conducting monthly collateral damage estimation, list management, and target strategy development. You will also assist with combat assessment requirements and ensure relevant space and counter-space data are accurately uploaded into the Modernized Integrated Data Base (MIDB) to interface with tools like the Joint Targeting Toolkit (JTT).
Hiring Process
This position is contingent upon successful completion of required training, including the in-resident Joint Targeting course, the Geospatial Imagery / Targeting Analyst course, or the Air Operation Center Course. Candidates must possess a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph.
