As a key member of the Security and Compliance team at Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS), you will bridge the gap between raw data and secure, governed insights. You will lead the architecture, implementation, and management of our data governance and information protection strategy, ensuring our digital estate—spanning Azure, Microsoft 365, and multi-cloud environments—is mapped, classified, and protected according to global regulatory standards and Zero Trust principles.
In this position, you will act as the technical lead for Data Privacy, Legal, and IT teams, translating complex regulatory requirements (such as NIST 800-53, GDPR, and HIPAA) into actionable technical controls. Your work will focus on architecting and deploying the Microsoft Purview governance portal to scan, ingest, and catalog metadata from diverse sources. You will design comprehensive Sensitivity Labeling taxonomies and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to automate the protection of PII, PHI, and intellectual property.
You will establish end-to-end data lineage to provide visibility into data movement and transformation, supporting audit and compliance requirements. Additionally, you will configure and monitor Insider Risk Management and Communication Compliance policies to detect and mitigate data exfiltration or policy violations. By developing PowerShell scripts and utilizing Purview APIs, you will automate administrative tasks and integrate Purview metadata with Microsoft Sentinel for advanced threat hunting.
