About the Role

This position is based at a FedEx Freight location in Memphis, TN or Harrison, AR, with a requirement to work onsite several times per week. You will serve as a strategic partner to senior Commercial IT leadership, leading a team of modernization analysts and IT product delivery support professionals. Your primary mission is to own the Commercial IT modernization value narrative, orchestrate the roadmap, and govern the portfolio to ensure that work in flight delivers measurable customer revenue and operational outcomes.

In this role, you will drive the Commercial IT modernization roadmap by aligning initiative priorities with enterprise strategy and commercial value outcomes. You will lead discovery efforts across Commercial IT and business stakeholders to identify modernization opportunities, industry trends, risks, and future-state initiatives. By synthesizing these insights into clear, decision-ready recommendations and value cases, you will coordinate the hand-off of approved initiatives to delivery managers for execution.

As a cross-functional connector, you will facilitate alignment across Director and Level teams, removing blockers and driving clarity on priorities and sequencing. You will establish and maintain a clear "value story" for the Commercial IT portfolio, ensuring initiatives are explicitly tied to improved customer experience, revenue enablement, operational scalability, and long-term sustainability. Additionally, you will manage special projects and tactical modernization efforts to address emerging priorities and executive asks, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, data, and security strategies.

Hiring Process

Candidates for this role must be prepared for frequent travel and flexible hours as needed. The position requires a candidate who can operate credibly with VP and executive-level leaders in complex, multi-initiative environments undergoing transformation.
