Associates play a key part in the logistics of the warehouse, ensuring that merchandise is available, properly displayed, and ready for purchase.
Day in the Life
As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, you will be responsible for the physical movement and organization of inventory. Your day typically involves unloading deliveries and moving merchandise from the backroom to the sales floor. You will stock shelves and bulk displays, rotate inventory to ensure freshness and accuracy, and organize backroom storage areas.
A significant part of the role involves operating equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts to ensure efficient movement of goods. You will also be responsible for labeling merchandise correctly and setting up promotional displays to highlight special offers.
Beyond the backroom, you will assist members by helping them locate merchandise, contributing to a positive shopping experience. Maintaining store cleanliness and adhering to safety standards are critical components of the position, ensuring a safe environment for both employees and customers.
Shifts and Schedule
The role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities. Overnight shifts are available, which typically focus on stocking and preparing the store for the store and preparing it for opening hours. These shifts may offer shift differential pay or bonuses depending on the location.
