About the Role
Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support its daily warehouse club operations by hiring Merchandise and Stocking Associates. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment for members. Associates play a key part in the daily flow of the warehouse, ensuring that products are available, properly displayed, and ready for purchase.
Day in the Life
As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, your day involves a mix of physical activity and customer support. You will be responsible for unloading deliveries and moving merchandise from the backroom to the sales floor. This includes using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts to move pallets and bulk items. A significant portion of the role involves stocking shelves and bulk displays, rotating inventory to ensure they are fully stocked and visually appealing.
Beyond stocking, you will help maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the store. This includes organizing backroom inventory, labeling merchandise, and setting up promotional displays. You may also assist members with locating merchandise, helping them find products and ensuring they have a positive shopping experience. Overnight shifts typically focus on stocking and preparing the store for the store for the next day's opening.
