About the Role
Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support its daily warehouse club operations by hiring Merchandise and Stocking Associates. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment for members. Associates play a key part in the logistical flow of the warehouse, ensuring that merchandise is available, properly displayed, and ready for purchase.
Day in the Life
As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, your day involves a mix of physical activity and organizational tasks. You will be responsible for unloading deliveries and moving merchandise, including using pallet jacks or forklifts to move pallets. A significant portion of the role focuses on the sales floor and backroom, where you will stock shelves, set up promotional displays, and organize bulk displays, and rotate inventory to ensure freshness and availability.
Beyond stocking, you serve as a resource for members by assisting them in locating merchandise. You also help maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the store, adhering to safety standards and ensuring products are properly labeled and displayed. Overnight shifts typically focus on stocking and preparing the store for the store for the next day's operations.
