About the Role

Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support its daily warehouse club operations by hiring Merchandise and Stocking Associates. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, safe, and well-stocked environment for members. Associates play a key part in the logistics of the warehouse, ensuring that merchandise is properly received, stored, and displayed for customers.

Day in the Life

As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, you will be responsible for the physical movement and organization of inventory. Your day typically involves unloading delivery trucks and moving pallets using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. You will stock shelves and bulk displays, rotate inventory to ensure freshness and accuracy, and organize backroom inventory to maximize efficiency.

Beyond stocking duties, you will assist members by locating merchandise and help maintain store cleanliness and organization. Overnight shifts focus heavily on stocking and preparing the store for opening, ensuring the store is ready for the next day's business. You will also set up promotional displays and ensure all products are properly labeled and displayed according to safety and organizational standards.
