Merchandise and Stocking Associate

About the Role

Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support its daily warehouse club operations by hiring Merchandise and Stocking Associates. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and organization of the store environment, ensuring that members have access to well-stocked, properly labeled, and safely displayed merchandise.

Day in the Life

As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, you will play a key role in the flow of goods from delivery to the sales floor. Your day typically involves unloading trucks and moving pallets using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. You will be responsible for stocking shelves and bulk displays, rotating inventory to ensure products are readily available for members. Additionally, you will organize backroom inventory, set up promotional displays, and ensure all products are properly labeled, and maintain high standards of store cleanliness and safety.

Associates may also assist members by helping them locate merchandise, contributing to a positive shopping experience. Overnight shifts focus heavily on stocking and preparing the store for opening the store for the next day's operations.
