About the Role

Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to support its daily warehouse club operations by hiring Merchandise and Stocking Associates. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and organization of the store environment, ensuring that members have access to well-stocked and properly displayed merchandise.

Day in the Life

As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, you will play a key role in the flow of goods from delivery to the sales floor. Your day typically involves unloading trucks and moving pallets using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. You will be responsible for stocking shelves and bulk displays, rotating inventory to ensure products are readily available for members.

Beyond stocking, you will help maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the store. This includes organizing backroom inventory, ensuring products are properly labeled and displayed according to safety and operational standards. You may also assist members with locating merchandise, helping them find the items they need and setting up promotional displays to highlight special offers.

Overnight shifts focus heavily on stocking and preparing the store for the store for the next day's opening, ensuring that the sales floor is ready for members when they arrive. Full-time and part-time employees may have the opportunity to work various shifts, including overnight options which may come with differential pay.
