Merchandise and Stocking Associate

About the Role

Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to supportively seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to join our team as a Merchandise and Stocking Associate. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of our warehouse club operations, ensuring that members have access to well-stocked, organized, and safely displayed merchandise. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital part in the daily flow of goods, from receiving deliveries to preparing the sales floor for our members.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a variety of physical and organizational tasks designed to keep our store running smoothly. You will be responsible for unloading delivery trucks, moving pallets using equipment, and utilizing pallet jacks or forklifts to ensure merchandise is safely transported to the backroom and sales floor. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to stocking shelves and bulk displays, rotating inventory to ensure products are properly labeled and displayed according to company standards.

Beyond stocking, you will assist members by locating merchandise and answering questions, contributing to a positive shopping experience. You will also help maintain store cleanliness and organization, safety standards, and set up promotional displays. Overnight shifts may focus specifically on stocking and preparing the store for the store for opening, providing a unique perspective on warehouse operations.
