About the Role
Sam’s Club is seeking Merchandise and Stocking Associates to join its team of Merchandise and Stocking Associates. This role is essential to maintaining the efficiency and organization of our warehouse club operations, ensuring that members have access to well-stocked, properly labeled, and safely displayed merchandise.
Day in the Life
As a Merchandise and Stocking Associate, you will play a hands-on role in the daily flow of the store. Your day typically involves unloading deliveries, moving merchandise onto the sales floor, and moving pallets using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. You will be responsible for stocking shelves and bulk displays, rotating inventory to ensure they are fully stocked and visually appealing. A key part of your role involves organizing backroom inventory and ensuring all products are properly labeled and displayed according to safety and operational standards.
Beyond stocking, you will assist members by helping them locate merchandise, contributing to a positive shopping experience. You will also help maintain store cleanliness and organization, safety standards, and set up promotional displays. Overnight shifts, which typically focus on preparing the store for opening, offer a different pace of work centered on restocking and setup.
