We are seeking dedicated Mental Health Workers to join our team in both Inpatient and Outpatient settings. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about providing compassionate care.
As an Inpatient Mental Health Worker, you will function as an integral part of the interdisciplinary care team under the direction of the RN, LVN, or Charge RN. Your day will involve assisting licensed nursing staff in providing and documenting patient care, with a focus on activities of daily living for adult and geriatric patients. You will help maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, visitors, and co-workers while communicating pertinent patient information to the supervising team. Additionally, you will perform assigned clerical duties and ensure all care aligns with Nursing Structure Standards and hospital policies.
In the Outpatient setting, you will work under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, RN, and Program Director. Your primary focus will be carrying out activities of daily living programs and implementing individual treatment plans for psychiatric patients, ensuring they receive the support they need to progress in their recovery journey.
