Brookdale has been recognized by Newsweek in 2024 and 2025 as one of America's Greatest Workplaces for Diversity. We are dedicated to creating an environment where associates can become their best possible selves while making lives better, including their own. Our culture emphasizes professional development, health, and wellness, offering a clear path for career advancement. For example, our Clare Bridge Program Assistants have opportunities to grow into roles such as Program Managers, Resident Programs Coordinators, and Business Office Managers.
The Clare Bridge Program Assistant plays a vital part in our dementia care community, assisting the Program Manager or Coordinator in leading and implementing a calendar of person-centered programs. The role is designed to meet the specific needs of residents, honoring their habits, historical routines, interests, and preferences. By engaging residents in meaningful and purposeful activities across the 7 domains of well-being—purposeful, intellectual, social, spiritual, emotional, and physical—you help enhance their quality of life in a structured, dementia-friendly environment. This includes facilitating sensory-focused small groups for those who cannot participate in large settings.
In alignment with Brookdale’s Resident and Family Engagement philosophy, this position ensures that individual abilities are recognized and independence is encouraged. You will serve as a bridge between residents, families, and community professionals, communicating positively about the program's benefits and sharing personal successes. The role also involves supporting quality improvement initiatives and fostering a supportive atmosphere for both residents and associates.
The application window is anticipated to close within 30 days of the date of the posting. We encourage veterans, transitioning active duty military personnel, and military spouses to apply. Brookdale is committed to supporting our associates' journeys; for qualified associates who have been with us for at least a year, we offer to advance fees for naturalization (Form N-400) application costs up to $725, less applicable taxes and withholding.
Brookdale is an equal opportunity employer and a drug-free workplace. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
