The Membership Services Coordinator serves as a vital point of contact for our members, playing a key role in onboarding, engagement, and retention. This position is designed for a warm and outgoing individual who thrives in a fast-paced administrative and customer service environment. You will act as a primary communication channel between members and the professional staff team, ensuring that standards of practice are met daily while fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
Working closely with the Membership Services Director, you will support high standards of customer service at the Service Desk, contribute to staff training, and assist with membership sales, data management, and event planning. Success in this role requires the ability to build warm, professional relationships with staff, members, guests, and program participants. You will be responsible for educating members about current and upcoming programs, promoting services through various channels, and ensuring all marketing materials and schedules are accurate and up-to-date.
We are looking for someone who can maintain a positive "open door" rapport with the Service Desk team and help uphold our organizational culture. You will work cooperatively with all departments, including the security team, to ensure a seamless experience for everyone entering our facility. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable learning new data systems to support our mission.
Candidates must be flexible with days, evenings, events, and some weekends. Prior customer service experience in a non-profit or hospitality environment is preferred. We value initiative, teamwork, and the ability to make independent decisions while adhering to established procedures.
